It’s been a busy few months here at Daletech, with new branding, a new website and a fantastic refurbishment project that’s increased our PCB manufacturing capacity by an impressive 100% – as well as bringing lots of other benefits too.
Let’s take a look a look at the changes and how it improves our PCB manufacturing capacity for a better all-round service…
We moved into our premises in Pudsey back in 1995, so after 20+ years and a huge increase in demand for our PCB manufacturing services, it was high time that we reorganised our premises to optimise production capabilities.
With the help of our brilliant builders at Johnson Brothers Ltd.the premises were gutted and stripped back to the bare bones to facilitate an entire new layout. We’ve moved the entire PCB manufacturing, assembly and inspection works to the ground floor, leaving the whole of the lower floor for our SMT (surface mount technology) capabilities.
At Daletech, we have a strong culture of honesty and transparency, so we’ve also created an open-plan office space to bring the team together in closer working quarters – along with a cosy meeting room for a little more privacy where required.
In order to preserve and protect our electronic components and products, we’ve also invested in ESD (electrostatic discharge) protected flooring. We’re super happy with our new bespoke benches too – designed and manufactured by the experts at Brancepeth Engineering they incorporate in-built power sockets and lights, ESD features and shelves.
Any investment in our business is an investment in our clients, and this refurbishment project allows us to offer even better PCB manufacturing services, including:
- The manufacture of a variety of products on different lines, simultaneously
- Provision of services to a variety of sectors whose products require electronics in low volume
- An increased capability to undertake larger volume SMT and PCB rework jobs
- Increased flexibility in response to client demands
- Significantly reduced turnaround times
We can’t tell you it’s all been smooth sailing, but the hard work has definitely been worth it! A big thank you to everyone who helped with our refurbishment, including the fantastic Daletech team who had to pull together while the work was carried out.
