Wakefield Manufacturer of the Year 2018, Conservatory Outlet Ltd has sponsored The Kettlethorpe Guardians Boxing Club, providing them with new branded training kit for the whole team.
The Kettlethorpe Guardians Boxing Club runs solely on donations and the dedication of the club’s founders Mark Roberts and Monica Graham, becoming a vital provision in the community by providing a safe place for children and youths from the local area to train, keeping them off the streets, reducing anti-social behaviour and promoting a fit and healthy lifestyle.
Conservatory Outlet Ltd was announced as Wakefield Manufacturer of the year by The Wakefield Manufacturing Forum in October 2018, receiving praise for its work locally in raising money for charity and providing sustainable employment for the community.
Conservatory Outlet Managing Director Michael Giscombe said “I personally have been both humbled and moved by the team at the Standbridge Lane Community Centre, in particular the work of Monica and Mark who both give up lots of their time to bring the local community together and create such a lovely place for the boxing club to train.
We have been truly inspired by the club and therefore really wanted to give something back. The Conservatory Outlet sponsored kit is just a small token of our support for the Boxing club and the wider Standbridge community. We hope the members enjoy the kit and have a happy and healthy 2019!
We’d like to say a special thank you also to Mark Rogers at Xamax who worked with us to create such a great looking kit for a reduced price.”
Kettlethorpe Guardians founder and coach Mark Roberts added “Myself and the team are absolutely delighted with the kit, it looks fantastic and gives the club members the opportunity to look professional and have something to be proud of.”
