Leeds City Council is encouraging businesses in Leeds and the wider region to have their say on latest proposals to reduce air pollution and protect the health of people in the city. These proposals include implementing a Clean Air Charging Zone (CAZ).
Based on almost 9,000 responses to its informal consultation held earlier this year, Leeds City Council has made some alterations to its original proposals. These changes will mitigate the economic impact on businesses whilse ensuring that the city still achieves improvements in air quality both inside and outside of the CAZ.
The consultation, which will take around 10-15 minutes, is available on the council’s website: http://www.leeds.gov.uk/airqualityconsultation
